I had a very specific brief from my client. It needed to be soft delicate shades of blue and grey’s. The vases needed to be glass, or subdued ceramics. Subject matter was to be flowers. Two had to be Magnolias, one the traditional cream colour, and the other was to have a soft pink as a tribute to magnolia trees in the garden. The others were to be roses and peonies. The flowers needed to be shades of white. The 4 paintings were to hang as a group in a softly toned home emanating serenity and calm.
