In honour of Spring

They are named “mock-orange” in reference to their flowers, which look somewhat similar to those of oranges and lemons at first glance, and smell of orange flowers and jasmine. They tend to like colder climates so I have to rely on photos of my Mom’s garden, arrangements of mock orange blossoms and childhood memories to conjour up these paintings. Sadly they are not happy growers in the tropics!
