This is part two of what will eventually be a set of three. She wants them similar in colour and the background needs to “match”. The first one I completed a while ago as a Christmas gift for a friend. They now want two more (with the same dimensions) to make a grouping of three orchids. It is such a delicate white with such subtle shading. Unfortunately my paints don’t do these beautifully delicate flowers justice. This orchid, for those interested in the botanical details, is part of the Cattleya genus known as Hawaiian Wedding Song. I thought the delicate whites would fit well with the Moth Orchid I did last December.
